I did not personally know Mr. Schmitz, but I want to extend my sincere condolences to the family. May you find comfort, hope, and strength within the word of God. Jesus said that the day will come when he will call out to those in the grave, and they will awaken! (John 5:28,29) What a glorious time that will be to be reunited with our dead loved ones. Please visit JW.org to learn the Bible's answer to what happens to us when we die.

Michael McMurtrey

Carrollton, TX

I've known Bobby and Jacque since they moved to Wichita Falls and Bobby joined our small group of model airplane enthusiasts, and Linda and I have visited with them at model contests and shows since returning to Texas in 2005. I had not heard much from him recently and knew he had health issues, but the news of his passing was a complete and heartbreaking shock. He was a good friend, and I will remember him as a gentle soul with a sense of humor as well as a fellow aviation enthusiast. Linda and I extend our deepest condolences to Jacque, Steve, Lisa, and his grandchildren. He will be missed by all of us who knew him.

Bobby and I were in choir together at Borger High School. We delveloped a friendship and we reconnected through social media. He shared about his wonderful family and his beloved grandsons. He was so proud of all of them. I know they will miss him terribly especially his wonderful sense of humor. Prayers are with you all. Another Borger Bulldog is in Heaven. We are going to have quite a reunion one of these days.
