My sister, Jody McBride asked me to tell Tom’s family how very sad she is about Tom’s death. She’s praying for all of you! Jody was one of many people that Tom helped & encouraged.

I'm blessed to have had Tom demonstrate God's love and Christ's example per his heart to heart teachings, listening ear, and perceptive eye. I join all who grieve his absence and anticipate reunion. Maranatha!

Charma and family. Our hearts are so heavy for your family. Tom was an amazing man who loved God. A great life long friend who always had a great bear hug for each person, never saw a stranger, always a loving heart. He will be missed by so many. We love you and praying for all of your family.

Tom was “family” to us. Like a family member, we grieve his passing. We know that Tom is with the Lord. His paradise is real! We are going to miss him so very much. He helped lay a great foundation of faith in our family through his love and his teaching. Tom exhibited wisdom and biblical insight which he imparted to us. We are better versions of ourselves because of our beloved Tom Rodgers.

I thank God for placing his faithful servant, Tom, straight in the middle of my life's path. He helped me to realize that I am worthy of God's Grace and he showed me such grace. He helped me to find the courage buried deep within me to pick up the pieces and soldier on.
I just know in my heart that when he met our Lord and Savior, he was greeted with "Well done, my son and faithful servant, well done!"
Prayers for peace and comfort for Tom's family and Church.-Jeanne

I have known and loved Tom Rodgers for 40 years. I have not attended a Grace Church but I consider him a pastor to me for the times I have worked with him on weddings and funerals. God bless my many friends at Grace and Tom’s family. It makes me feel closer to heaven when a Saint like Tom gets to go first.

The article in the obituary today was totally correct when it stated that
he was immediately in the presence of his Heavenly Father.

I never heard a bad comment about Tom Rogers. He was a shining example of a true Christian.

He will be missed by mamy.
