Elizabeth Henderson Shaw died peacefully in her cottage at Presbyterian Manor July 17, 2017. She was born on her familyís farm outside of Byers, Texas in 1917. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunnís Colonial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 20, in the Chapel of Floral Heights United Methodist Church with Reverend Paul Goodrich officiating. Burial will follow the service in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Lunnís Colonial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5:30-6:30 Wednesday evening at Lunnís colonial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shaw was a proud graduate of the fine arts program at Oklahoma University. She worked as an illustrator for Douglas Aircraft Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma during World War II. She then moved to Wichita Falls where she met the love of her life Hugh D Shaw, married and raised her family. Elizabeth was a very active member of Floral Heights United Methodist Church where she held numerous voluntary posts through the years. She also volunteered with other causes that were dear to her heart to include the Hospital Auxiliary, the Cancer Society, the Southside Girls Club and the Wichita Falls Museum of Art.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her daughter Linda Wilson and husband Rob of Wichita Falls and her son Hugh Shaw of Fort Worth, and LeeAnn Lee, and numerous nieces and nephews, and her special caregivers.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the donorís favorite charity honoring Mrs. Shawís lifelong commitment to serving others.
