Ann Rose DeGeorgio Stowe, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother departed this life and went to be with her Lord and Savior, July 28, 2017. Ann was born on August 1, 1927 in Alexandria, Egypt, daughter of the late Anthony and Gertrude DeGeorgio. She met and married Arwood Stowe, stationed in Egypt during WWII and together they moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in 1945. Ann attended and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls and a longtime member of the Winsome Sunday School Class.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Arwood. She is survived by three children and eleven grandchildren: Bill and Mary Ann Stowe and their children, Krissy, Karey and Kelly; Darla and Pat Rominger and their children, Stacy and Leann; Kathy and Ken Hines and their children, Sarah, Kate, Kenneth and Maggie. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

Ann loved to needlepoint and knit and was a volunteer at the Wichita Falls General Hospital for many years where she knitted baby hats for the newborn babies. Ann was a wonderful cook and baker and her grandchildren remember her always having fresh cookies in the cookie jar for them when they visited.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Midwestern Healthcare Center and Hospice of Wichita Falls for their kindness and compassionate care provided to Ann, we are truly grateful. A private family memorial will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
