May 11, 1931 - September 28, 2017
Anna Ono passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family
and Lord at the age of 86.
Ann was born in Haupstuhl, Germany, on May 11, 1931, and moved
with her family to the United States in 1956. Her love for cooking led her to purchase Sheppard
Pizza and Hoagie House, where she served the Wichita Falls and Sheppard AFB area for 15
years. Ann spent her free time maintaining her beautiful gardens and had a love for all dogs,
especially her beloved Princess. She lived for cooking her meatloaf and potato salad for her
children and grandchildren, always adding her own German flair.
She is survived by her companion, James Stipe; her sister, Helga and husband Jim Beasley; and her four children: Tom Ono and wife Cathy of Vacaville, California; Eleonore Ono of Dallas, Texas; Anna Rogers and husband Randy of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Ray Ono and wife Jana of Ft. Worth, Texas. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Ryan and Stacie Rogers, Nick and Anna Rogers, Karl Ono, Clayton Ono, Helen and Cole West, and Cope Ono, along with her four great-grandchildren.
A private memorial will be held at a later date in Wichita Falls, Texas. Those who
desire, may make memorial donations in memory of Ann to the Humane Society of Wichita
County at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76305 or Hospice of Wichita Falls at
4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310. Bis wir uns wieder treffen.
