Janet Lynn Fox Owens, 62, of Wichita Falls, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 7, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, in the chapel of Lunnís Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cummings officiating. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Lunnís.

A daughter of the late Mary Ann Garrett Fox and John Milton Fox, Janet was born on January 31, 1955, in Wichita Falls. Janet's passion in life was the children she loved and ministered to during her 20+ year career in childcare. Janet was an active member of Colonial Church, and she was also a very proud graduate of S. H. Rider High School Class of 1973 and remained close to her classmates. She loved and cherished each life that she touched and each life that touched hers.

Along with her parents, Janet was also preceded in death by her grandparents George Garrett Sr. and Rachal Margaret Dixon Garrett, as well as Douglas Fox and Mable Missouri Taylor Fox.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 45 years, Donnie Rae. Janet is also survived by two loving daughters, Catherine Ann Farris and husband Russell of Ft. Worth TX and Jessica Lynn Underwood and Husband James of Wichita Falls TX, as well as three precious grandchildren; Jahue Collin Underwood, Jenna Lynn Underwood and Arianna Farris. Other survivors include her brother, Steven Douglas Fox of Houston TX; sister, Karen Kay Levene and husband Chuck of Lewisville TX, and stepmother Linda Fox of Ft Worth TX, as well as stepbrothers, Jeff Campbell and wife Beckie; Chris Campbell and wife Christy; and Scott Campbell and wife Sydney of Lewisville TX.
